Changes in the environment always bring a lot of positive energy. In this residential unit, where the inhabitants were tired of the décor filled with patterns, wallpaper with busy designs, and the use of bold, eye-catching colors, the need for change was felt. Given their growing interest in minimalism and their desire to create a sense of calm in the space, we decided to replace the bold colors and busy walls with ones that would never feel tiresome to look at. Details were considered for each wall so that this transition from maximalism to minimalism would not create a sense of alienation from the space for the inhabitants. Ultimately, the new space provided the desired tranquility, and this was reflected in the satisfied smile of the owner at the time of project completion.
